MEET YOUR INSTRUCTORS

Laura Freeman

I started going out to milongas in Philadelphia with my parents when I was 14. I began studying tango more seriously in 2017 - learning both roles, taking classes with a variety of teachers, and getting involved in organizing. For the past two years, I have been on the board of Tango Colorado, a local non-profit that runs weekly Tango classes and practices. During the years in which I was not dancing Tango as much, I was an avid break dancer. I have studied and taught basic breaking, gymnastics, and I am excited to now be sharing the world of Tango with you.

Sarah Bella

Originally beginning my tango journey in New York in 2017, I had no prior dance background. It was a way to relieve daily stressors, and turned into a life long passion. Through tango, I was able to learn a foundation of body mechanics to create movement musically. I moved to Denver in 2021 and began exploring both roles with local teachers with different styles. Currently on the board of Tango Colorado, I enjoy supporting and growing the Tango community. Along with dancing, I surround my life with other art forms, including Graphic Design, drawing, and painting.
